Day 290 - 19 April 2006 bday chillaxin A day of quase-celebration for my first off-shore birfday: on the eve, THE falafel tradition in Bufadour continues starring fellow hometown Volunteers and another buddy from up north who stuck around for the festivities. and what better way to follow up fome-fulfilling-falafel than with homemade molten chocolate mini-cakes for us all! talk about gut busting good! (much groaning and rolling around on the ground follows until the digestive system catches up.) on the (not so) big day, my roomie and buddy take me out to a treat- PIZZA and beer! DOCE! (SWEET!) the only place in town that just started makin pizzas this month rocks! well, for our li’l city of Port’…after a li’l consumption, we feze un volta rap’t (walk thru town quickly) since nobody’s out on this lovely Wednesday night…go fig. it was nice not to have to worry about the BIG surprise party that was ‘bout to happen after dinner at the restaurant. and of course, missing that cream pie to the face never hurts either. <--- BASEBAAALL!!                jr slump --->
