Day 200 - 19 January 2006 Santo Antão reunion that’s right, it’s birthday time again! anytime there’s a bday for one of our fellow Volunteers on our island (including the one next door), we seem to get together and cook up a storm. well, certain folks cook at a storm while the rest eat up the previously cooked storm. of course it’s always important to lubricate beforehand so we drink up a storm as well. so much so this time that we had to make another run before dinner even started! reeeee-DONK-yew-lussssssss. no matter whose birthday it is, or what the particular event happens to be, one thing never fails...good eats and good times! (maybe that’s 2 things?) pics here after dinner there was a li’l game time with some twister and taboo! and WOW did it get UUUUUGLY! lots of yelling, self-proclaimed birthdays for other people, lots of buzzing (tabooin all over the place), even a one-sided pillow fight! (more like a pillow massacre.) and what would be better than following up a night full of all that than with a walk thru town? and then a club and some dancing? NUMA NUMA YAY!
