Day 69 - 10 September 2005 the trek leavin the capital city at 9:00 to catch a 11:15 airplane flight to land one island away, catch lunch, then a boat to my city was quite a li’l seven hour trek. and I had the short one. the girls had to catch another hour hiace ride up through the mountains to get to their respective sites. thankfully, there was more waitin than traveling, with a short plane and boat ride, each only an hour long, and thus basically painless. played 13 the entire plane ride while I enjoyed a fresh golden delicious apple and ice cold liter of spring water on the beautiful boat ride, spottin a bunch of dolphins and flying fish, not to mention the sparkling blue Atlantic we glided across. the water was calm today we were told. how lucky are we! cool thing my roommate shows up at the boat and takes me home. sweet deal. easy as pie. I want some pie...like that chocolate meringue from the tocatina weeks back...mmmm...pie... <--- the end of training                home at last --->
